Mom's love can be a distant turning back

This illustration book was inspired by a feral cat I adopted two ears ago. Unlike other feral cats she was pregnant and found me for helo. She quicklv adapted to the comfort of the house and spent her das gently feeding and licking the babies. I thought she would become a 'house cat' because of the comfort or because of the children, but when she jumped out of the window and went to the eaves. I realized that in the world of
animals they are all individuals, and that protection and bondage have an expiry date. Each cat has its own freedom as they understand it.
